"People are bad, so we need government to protect us!"
Response:
And just what do you propose to make up this government with? That's right, people… but people are bad. And sadly, nobody's come up with a way to pick the virtuous from the evil yet, and history shows a lot of evil perpetuated by governments—I'm talking about mass murder of millions here, not exceeding some arbitrary speed limit.
